Job Summary

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused Certified Construction Work Zone Flaggers to support traffic control operations in the Baltimore area. This role is critical in ensuring the safety of construction crews, motorists, and pedestrians in active work zones.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control traffic safely through construction zones using hand signals and signage
• Set up and maintain traffic control devices (cones, signs, barricades)
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and motorists
• Monitor work zone conditions and report safety hazards immediately
• Follow all OSHA, state, and local safety regulations
• Maintain a visible and professional presence at all times

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE American Traffic Safety Services Association Flagger Certification (Required)
• CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)
• Prior experience in traffic control or construction work zones preferred
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and situational awareness
• Reliable transportation to job sites in the Baltimore area
